Montafon Ski Areas in Vorarlberg

A FUN TIME ON AND OFF THE SLOPES

The skiing areas of the Montafon increase the heart rate of every winter sport enthusiast. The whole area contains 5 skiing areas with 295km of skiing slopes, 33 cross country tracks and 75 chair lifts. And all that in an altitude of 1,400 to 2,400 meters that guarantees snow! The nearest cable car to the hotel is only 5 walking minutes away. For all our non-skiers, we recommend to try out a winter hike, snowshoe hiking or night tobogganing.

The ski pass for your skiing holiday in the Montafon

The Montafon Brandnertal Card is your multi day ski pass for the Montafon. It allows you to experience all the skiing areas of the valley. Good to know: this ski pass also includes entrance to the skiing area Brandnertal and Muttersberg. Seniors and children until the age of 18 are eligible for a discount. 

 

Those who book early, profit!

The Bergbahnen Pool Montafon-Brandnertal introduced the dynamic pricing model in the winter season 2022/23.

 

The mountain railways in Montafon and Brandnertal have had dynamic prices for day and multi-day tickets since then.

Sounds complicated? It is not. Those who book early benefit from lower prices! Tickets can be booked easily and conveniently at attractive prices from home, in the webshop. No more waiting in line at the box office.

Cable cars and chair lifts in the Montafon ski areas

The Silvretta Montafon is walking distance away from the hotel! In only 5 minutes, you can reach the Hochjoch Bahn which takes you to the Kapell at 1,850 meters above sea level. From there, you can take the Sennigrat chair lift to 2,300 meters above sea level.

 

The ski area, Golm, is 10 driving minutes away from the hotel. The first cable car takes you to 1,000m, the second one to 1,521m and the third one to 1,892m above sea level.

 

The ski area, Gargellen, is a 20 minute drive away from Hotel Zimba. The valley station is already at 1,423m and the Schafberg cable car brings you up to 2,130m.

 

The ski area, Kristberg, is 9 minutes away by car. The cable car takes you directly to the Kristberg at 1,444m. You can take the another lift up to 1,589m. This area is small but mighty!

 

The ski area, Silvretta-Bielerhöhe, is 20 driving minutes away from the hotel. The valley station is already at 1,035m and the cable car Vermunt brings you to 1,730m.

The Hochjoch at the Silvretta Montafon skiing area is ideal for winter enthusiasts and families with children. The little ones can learn to ski in the Dreamland, and the big ones can enjoy a run with a beautiful view. 

Ski Area Golm

The skiing area, Golm, is an exciting area for experienced skiers with slopes like the Diabolo. Moreover, the Alpine-Coaster is also a spectacular experience in the winter.

Ski Area Gargellen

The skiing area, Gargellen, offers snow stability and slope fun on 2,300 m above sea level. Many beginner slopes offer the ideal conditions for beginners, people getting back into skiing and families.

Ski Area Kristberg

The skiing area, Kristberg, with a beautiful sun patio is ideal for snowshoeing and winter hikes. It also offers a beautiful marked ski tour to the Kristbergsattel. 

Ski Area Silvretta-Bielerhöhe

The skiing area, Silvretta-Bielerhöhe, is perfect for everyone who likes less busy skiing areas. It also amazes with the great view of the highest mountain of the province, the Piz Buin with 3,321 meters.
