The 14 km long winter hike from Latschau through the Gauertal valley to the Lindauer chalet starts at the fire station in Latschau, about 11 minutes from the hotel. The estimated duration for the entire route is4 hrs 30 mins. Since the return is mainly downhill, this time can easily be shortened by using a sleigh.
About 10 minutes by car from our house is the Bartholomäberg parish church. It's one of the most beautiful baroque churches in Vorarlberg – this is where the moderately difficult winter hike via Rellseck to Fritzensee begins. The route is 10.8 km long and takes about 3 hrs & 40 mins. The highest point of the hike is at an altitude of 1,500 m and offers a great panoramic view
